At Lion Rocker Health, we aim to make payments simple, transparent, and stress-free. We accept a range of funding options — including private health insurance, Medicare, DVA, Workers Compensation, Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA), and NDIS — to make your care more accessible.

Private Appointments

We accept all private health insurance funds and provide on-the-spot claiming at all our clinics. Simply bring your health fund card (physical or digital), and we'll process your claim during your visit. If you prefer to claim directly with your health fund, we can issue a paid invoice for you to submit later.
Please note that rebate amounts vary depending on your health fund and policy, and we're unable to provide an estimate before your appointment. All our clinical team members are recognised providers with major private health insurers.

Medicare Appointments

If you have a valid GP Care Plan (EPC or Chronic Disease Management Plan), we provide bulk-billed appointments with our Physiotherapists and Podiatrists. Bulk billing applies to routine consultations. Some advanced assessments or treatments may incur an additional cost. Your treating practitioner will always discuss and obtain your consent before proceeding with any service involving additional fees.

Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA)

We proudly support our veterans. Bulk billing is available for eligible DVA clients seeing our Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, and Exercise Physiologists.

Workers Compensation & Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Claims

We provide gap-free services for approved Workers Compensation and MVA claims with our Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Exercise Physiologists, and Remedial Massage Therapists. To access this, please ensure you have: A valid referral from your medical practitioner, insurer, or employer, and Proof of claim acceptance from your insurer. If your claim is still pending approval, treatment can begin as a private appointment. Standard private fees will apply, and we'll provide a paid invoice for you to claim reimbursement once your insurer confirms approval.

NDIS Clients

Our Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Exercise Physiologists, and Remedial Massage Therapists charge standard NDIS rates, in line with the current NDIS price guide. We welcome both plan-managed and self-managed participants.

Weekend Appointments

Appointments on Saturdays and Sundays may incur an additional weekend fee, regardless of the appointment type or funding source. Our reception team will confirm any weekend fee when booking your appointment.

Claiming Rules

Please note that we can only process one funding source per appointment. For example, it's not possible to claim both Medicare and private health insurance for the same consultation.

Yes. All our clinics are equipped with HICAPS terminals for instant private health fund claiming. Simply bring your physical or digital health fund card.

You don't need a referral for private appointments. However, you will need one if your treatment is under Medicare, DVA, Workers Compensation, or MVA.
